Jivdhan - II

It's called Nanacha Angatha - The shape of the part of the ridge came outward resembles Thumb.

Beautiful ridges close to Jivdhan. It reminded me of the Kokan Kada of Harishchandragadh. Unfortunately when I and Ayzu climbled Harishchandragadh we were not having camera (It is different story that we still don't have it). So we missed to capture our experiences to show to the others.

Rock patch - Santy beware - you are on your toes till you get down. That's what really happened, despite we ppl were guiding him from the side below about where to place feet and where to clamp the palms. and I still remember what Sandy thought for a moment.

Jivdhan from the base village.

Was it stressful ?

Jivdhan Naneghat - I

Guys get started.

Vegaat (vedaat ?) daudale marathi veer ;-)

Left the base an hour ago and it was still half more to cover to get onto the top.

Getting here was tough - and Sandy slipped afterwards but could control himself ;-)

This pic was my desktop wallpaper for almost a month after I trekked Jivdhan.

Rajgadh

Jacks and Jill (0). And here Jack fell down n his jacket became colourful.

I am going to missing these scenes this year.

We were sitting at a place which is a hole left in the rocky ridge. Next time when I was climbing on the 'Torna' I could easily identify this big hole in the rocky ridge on Rajgadh from far distant 'Torna'. Climbing Rajgadh was an amazing experience. Thank you guys for making those two days such wonderful and memorable - may it be start climbing at 8:00 pm in total dark night and in heavy rains where anybody could not see and hear to anything happening after person walking next to or on the back side of him. Where after reaching on the top and and on the next morning we realized how many difficult patches that we had crossed considering it was dark and raining heavily. We reached on top - the Padmawati Machi around 10:00pm and the temple was wet inside too, cooking in such a cold/humid and when it was raining around was just fabulous. Next day every one was claiming that he could not sleep a wink.

But definitely getting close to nature gives pleasure.

Beautiful ridge on Rajgadh.

Honestly, I was not expecting such a clear snap from a mobile phone (those we were having - : Read : Yogesh was having )

Cheers for those memories :-)
